We provide sessions for the following age groups:

3-5 yrs

5 -7 yrs

7 - 12 yrs

 

Sessions are run from our Autism Hub in Landsborough

NDIS Registered Provider for following groups:

0117 Development-Life Skills

0118 Early Childhood Supports

0125 Participate Community

0136 Group/Centre Activities

Half or full day sessions

4 children per group


 

What can sessions include?

 
 

Executive Functioning Focus

Flexible thinking, working memory, self-control, perseverance

Social & Emotional Focus

Taking turns, sharing, play skills, conflict resolution, friendship, emotional understanding and regulation

Cognitive Focus

Independence, following instructions, decision making, inference skills, logic and visual processing


 

Neuro-affirming approach

We support our participants by adopting a neuro-affirming approach. We focus on helping our participants to find their authentic selves and develop skills that align with their values. This can include:

  • Building self-esteem and promoting independence

  • Understanding the differences in social communication styles for different neurotypes and validating all

  • Developing self-advocacy skills

  • Identifying emotions and vocabulary to help develop self-awareness and other-awareness

  • Understanding supports and accommodations that are vital to success

AAA Community

It takes a village to raise a child and the AAA community can be that village. As part of our portfolio of services for our enrolled families, we offer:

 
 

Parent Training

Sessions include Autism 101, Sensory Strategies, Autistic Burnout and more.

Private Facebook Group

A place to connect with other parents and keep up to date with AAA social events.

School Holiday Workshops

Sessions over the holidays to focus on individual skills.
