Our Story
All About Autism was created from a deep understanding of what many families were looking for — a space that truly sees their child.
Founded in 2015 by Autism Specialist Lizzie Vaughan, our Landsborough centre was built to offer something more than just therapy or support programs. It was built to offer connection. Safety. Trust. A community.
Here, autistic children aged 4–12 attend weekly half-day or full-day sessions that support their social, emotional, and communication growth in a way that honours who they are. We use autism-specific supports and a deeply neuro-affirming approach to help children build confidence, feel understood, and thrive.
In 2024, we expanded our services to include paediatric counselling and speech therapy — offering families even more holistic support under one roof.
Nearly a decade on, All About Autism has become more than a program. We’re a place where children, families, and staff grow together — a trusted community rooted in care, respect, and celebration of the spectrum.
“I love that the team ‘know Autism’ and all of the colour it brings out in our kids.”
Our Vision
Working for a world where all children are understood, connected, and able to flourish as themselves — strengthening the communities we all belong to.
What guides everything we do
At All About Autism, this vision means providing individualised, neuroaffirming and developmentally responsive supports that prioritise understanding each child, building safe and meaningful connections, and supporting growth that respects each child's identity.
Our programs are designed to help children develop the communication, emotional, social, and functional skills that enable them to navigate their world with confidence. Through this work, we aim not only to support children, but to positively influence the families, schools, and communities they are part of.
Our Space
Located in the heart of Landsborough’s old bank building, our centre is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed.
With three dedicated learning areas, a large indoor play space, a calming sensory room, and a spacious outdoor area, our environment supports movement, connection, and comfort.
Every part of our space is designed to help children feel safe, regulated, and ready to engage — whether they’re inside creating or outside exploring.
